Cartoon created in 2004 for MAXIM magazine, which illustrated a joke about the obsession with Soccer games, the World Cup and the Soccer Videogames. Now I updated the cartoon according to the FIFA 2010 in South Africa, ha-ha!
For this joke, I decided to include Bugs, Daffy and Elmer Fudd, to give homage to the famous "Hunting Trilogy" cartoons, created in the decade of 50's, directed by Chuck Jones and writing by Michael Maltese; and that till now continue being three of the best cartoons ever created in the history. You can know some information of these three cartoons here: [link] [link] [link]
Curious date: This one illustration was censured. It was never published, due to the fact that the publishers didn't want to get in troubles with the license of Warner Bros. Hmm, a little bit unjust, because we didn’t business with the characters. Take as an example the "Mad" magazine, where always there appear cartoon characters from different companies and “Mad” never has get in troubles.
(Would you like to see the "happy end" of this cartoon? Click here: [link] , Hahaha!)
---- Daffy: Let'th run through that again. Bugs: Okay. [neutral toned] Bugs: Wouldja like to shoot me now or wait till ya get home? Daffy: [neutral toned] Shoot him now, shoot him now. Bugs: [neutral toned] You keep outta dis, he doesn't hafta shoot you now. Daffy: [with expression] HA! THAT'TH IT! HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! [to audience] Daffy: Pronoun trouble. [to Bugs] Daffy: It'th not "He doethn't have to shoot [pointing to Bugs] Daffy: *you* now." It'th "He doethn't have to shoot [pointing to himself] Daffy: *me* now." [with anger] Daffy: Well, *I* thay he *does* have to shoot me now! [to Elmer] Daffy: THO SHOOT ME NOW! [Elmer shoots him]
